Electricity is a modern convenience that enhances our daily life. It is easy to take this modern luxury for granted, but electricity demands our utmost respect. It is capable of injuring us or even worse. But when treated with proper respect, we have nothing to fear and can truly enjoy it’s marvelous convenience. Older homes may have fuse boxes containing glass window fuses, and may have only 60 Amp service entering the home. Some older homes may still have knob-and-tube or even aluminum wiring. It is required by most insurance companies these days to upgrade these services to 100 Amp service and a circuit-breaker panel, and this is the time also to replace any knob-and-tube or aluminum wiring.

At Glenbow Renovations, we do electrical work right – every time. We thoroughly check every connection we make to ensure it’s proper and safe function, and we comply with or exceed electrical code. We are fully able to complete all basic electrical repairs and modifications, and for large electrical projects we employ professional, licensed journeyman electricians.
