Over the course of 2008, we engaged Glen Tinckler as a general contractor for several renovation projects for our home. At first, the scope of work involved a small scale project to repair some water damage in our house. We were impressed enough with his professionalism and work ethic to expand the work scope and get several other renovation ideas completed. All told, we worked with Glen to redo the entire ceiling in our house, paint the interior of our main and upper floors, completely redo our trim and baseboard and rebuild our front Veranda / sidedoor stair case. He was also able to help us with some minor plumbing and electrical work.

Throughout the project, Glen and his team were professional and responsive to any issues or concerns. Along the way, Glen was always involved and in communication with us. He was easy to reach by email or phone, and made it a priority to see us pleased with the final result. Any issues that arose were dealt with by Glen personally and his orientation towards detail ensured our renovation vision was fulfilled.

We’ve often been disappointed in the past by Contractors - whether it’s the ability to deliver on-time or to our high quality expectations. In working with Glen, we have been very pleased with the results of the work and feel it was done to a very high standard while respecting deadlines and budgets. Dear Glen,

Now that the dust has settled and the boxes are mostly unpacked, I’ve finally found time to write a letter of thanks for the magic that you and your crew performed on my new home.

It’s hard to believe the transformation! Your first-class workmanship has transformed a shrine to the 1980’s into a handsomely livable contemporary space. I love it!

I suspected going into the project that I was in good hands, but it was such a relief that you were in regular contact throughout the renovation, especially since I was out of town for almost two months’ worth of crucial decision-making. I so much appreciate your advice about cost-saving alternatives along the way too!

Finally, my neighbours are still talking about your crew’s consideration throughout the entire project. It has made the transition to my new home relatively stress-free.

We have recently had a new Red Oak floor installed in our living room/dining room and back hall.
